Shaped For You is a small custom 3D printing studio preparing to launch in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The photos and clips show sample work. Products, services, orders and enquiries are not available on any channel yet.
What the printers are for
Most people come to us with one small thing: a name on a keychain, a tag for the dog, a sign for a nursery door. That’s exactly the right place to start. The same printers also make working replacement parts, prototypes, wedding favours by the dozen and white-label runs for local shops.
The idea is simple: you shouldn’t need to know anything about 3D printing to get something made. Send a photo, a sketch, a paragraph or a finished 3D file, and you’ll get a real reply from the person who’ll actually make it.
What do we print on?
Everything is printed in the Winnipeg studio on Bambu Lab printers, the same machines you see in the clips on our home page. They’re fast, precise FDM printers with multi-colour capability, which is how two-tone signs and multi-colour keychains come off the bed in one go.
We print in four finishes across two materials:
- PLA Basic: Clean, solid colour with a light sheen. The everyday default, and the widest colour range.
- PLA Matte: No shine at all. Hides layer lines better than anything else and photographs beautifully.
- PLA Silk: A glossy, almost metallic sheen that catches light as it turns. The one people pick up twice.
- PETG: Tougher, flexes instead of snapping, and shrugs off sun, rain and the dishwasher.

The planned quality checks
These checks describe the intended process after launch, not a currently available order service:
The file, before anything prints
Scale, wall thickness, overhangs and holes are checked so the piece prints cleanly the first time.
Spelling and dimensions
Names, dates and sizes are read back against what you approved.
Layers and surface
Each piece is inspected for stringing, gaps and blemishes, and cleaned up by hand.
Fit and function
Parts, magnets, keyrings and moving joints are tested before they leave.
Packaging
Packed like a gift, because it usually is one.

No storefront, and a few things we won’t print
There is no storefront to visit. Local pickup, delivery and shipping are future plans only; none is available now.
What we won’t make: trademarked characters, team logos, brand names or anything that copies someone else’s design. Original ideas, your own pets and people, and your own logos are all fair game.
